Why won’t my Root® Pro coding robot erase?

The Root® Pro coding robot's eraser works best on magnetic whiteboard surfaces. The eraser has embedded magnets to hold it firmly against the smooth surface of magnetic whiteboard so that it can erase. On the included fold-up whiteboard, the robot is not always able to press down hard enough to erase and the eraser pad can get caught on the folds, pushing the robot off course.
