To connect to and control your Root® coding robot,
- Place your Root® coding robot on a flat surface, such as the fold-out whiteboard that is included in the box.
- Power your Root® coding robot on by pressing and holding the robot’s yellow button (otherwise referred to as its “nose”) for three seconds until its LED lights turn on.
- Power on your Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) device and ensure its Bluetooth® settings are active.
- Open the iRobot Coding App on your BLE device (Web, iOS, and Android).
- Click on the plus (+) icon under the “My Projects” header in the Content Manager.
- Open the Bluetooth® connection window by clicking on the Root® coding robot icon to the right of the project title in the Project Editor.
- Select the Root® coding robot that you would like to connect with.
- Begin coding in the Project Editor!
